Nikky is a London Based songwriter, producer, composer and sound artist. He began his career as an electronic music producer, releasing music alongside members of ambient electronic pioneers The Orb and released works to critical acclaim. Over the last few years Nikky has developed his love for contemporary classical sounds, and has had much success fusing them with his electronic roots to create work which is beautiful, atmospheric, emotive and never prosaic.

Nikky didn’t study music formally, and creates his original scores with raw passion and experimentation utilising classical instruments, synthesis and the manipulation of sounds. Due to his musical background from being in bands and producing he feels more aligned to composers such as Trent Reznor, Jonny greenwood and Clint Mansell.

Nikky’s composition credits include; Emmy winning documentary Trans In America; hit kids TV show Green with the Grimwades, BBC/Soho theatre’s Half Breed and world released cinematic documentary Rembrandt, the final years;

His work has featured on all UK television channels as well as cinemas around the world.

What people say…

“He's full of raw musicality, ideas and possibilities; he creates music that really responds to a film's arc and subtleties; he thoroughly gets how to best shape a cue so that it enhances and enlivens the storytelling without overpowering; and he's an unusually sensitive and generous listener when you're finding a film's musical language together. Nikky is a seriously talented composer with rare abilities”
